01. Red, orange, and gold,
slowly falling one by one.
Leaving branches bare.

02. Crisp wind nips the face.
Jackets cover the torso.
Hot drinks warm belly.

03. Trees shed their colors
preparing for the winter.
One last bright display.

04. Time for the sickle
With every swing, "swish" it goes
Bountiful harvest.

05. Hang up the spices.
Chimneys cleaned and woodpile full.
Ready for winter.
