Challenge #9: In your own space, list your Fandom Wrap categories.
What are your top five fandoms for 2021 based on the amount of time you interacted with them?
1. The Chronicles of Riddick - probably my go to fandom to make edits of. I love this movie because of the colors and the aesthetic (textured fabrics, extreme landscapes, tragedy, etc).
2. The Phantom of the Opera - the fandom I come back to time and time again, specifically the 2004 movie with Gerard Butler as the phantom.
3. The Last Jedi - I enjoyed this movie and think this is the best of the sequel trilogy. I love the concepts this movie presented: knowing when to back down (Poe Dameron), the relationship between master and apprentice (Luke Skywalker), the cost of war and who is most affected by it (Rose Tico and Finn), capitalism (DJ), letting go or not (Kylo Ren), facing truths (Rey), balance in the Force. Most of all this quote from Yoda to Luke: "Pass on what you have learned. Strength, mastery, hmm… but weakness, folly, failure also. Yes, failure, most of all. The greatest teacher, failure is. Luke, we are what they grow beyond. That is the true burden of all masters."
But then it was all erased in The Rise of Skywalker.
4. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - probably my favorite of the +series released last year because it's Sam Wilson. Captain America Sam Wilson.
5. Pacific Rim - There's just something about big robots.
What are your top five fandom spaces in terms of time spent? (AO3, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Dreamwidth, and others)
1. tumblr - the hellsite (affectionate). I am a visual person. I like looking at pretty edits.
2. livejournal - I enjoy making stuff because of these comms: land of art and superhero land.
3. dreamwidth - for iconthat, fandom10in30, icontalking and many more.
4. ao3 - sometimes you just need that fanfic goodness which only another like-minded fan can give you. I'm grateful for this archive.

What are the top five ways you interacted in these fandoms?

2. reading fanfic and giving kudos
3. writing fanfic

What are the top five things you did to contribute to fandom in terms of time? Did you write? Comment? Send positive energy into the universe? Create art?
1. I wrote fanfic and made graphics (tumblr graphics and gifs) of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
2. I made gifs of Abigail Bellweather from Motherland Fort Salem.
3. I made graphics (tumblr graphic and icons) of Chuck Hansen.
4. I like and reblog fanart and gifs at tumblr (reblogs are important for content makers).
5. -
What things did you create that took the most time?
1. Headers and wallpapers where I have to cutout the background. These are mostly graphics I made at my livejournal.
Here's a TFatWS (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) header I made for a challenge at land of art:

2. Fanmixes - in theory it seems easy to list a few songs for a specific character. But ads and slow loading time of the music videos take out the joy in making fanmixes. I also don't have an updated music library.
3. Gifs - I use GIMP to make them. I don't have any filters installed to make it so that once I edit the coloring of a layer it will apply to all layers. I have to edit the coloring of each layer to make the gif coloring consistent. An added hardship is adding text to the gif because then I would have to choose "create visible layer" which makes a new layer from the visible elements (edited layer + text layer). Here is a gifset with text of a scene in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
4. Picspams - it takes time to pick the screencap I'd like to include in the picspam because last year I limited myself to the 6 picture format. It was a personal challenge I made for the graphics I submitted in the hide and seek round of land or art.
5. Icons - I have this tendency to secondguess myself so I am not confident in making icons especially when it calls for technical stuff like complex icons. Often I can't submit by the deadline and have to opt out.
