Challenge #8: In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, a gift of your time to the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well.

I am proud of learning to use different icon making styles like blending, cutout, selective coloring, making them colorful, and using light textures. Here are some of my icons from last year:



The later half of my first 25 dailyicons table shows my repeated use of light texture(s).

Despite the feelings I have about Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, I made it a point to like&reblog reylo (Rey & Kylo Ren) fanart late last year to show my support and gratitude to the reylo fandom (at tumblr). I also reblogged a lot of Adam Driver content because I like looking at his face even though others think he is not attractive.

I am glad I was able to write a few sentences for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. I love this series because it has a plot about cost and consequences (the cost and consequences of Endgame, the Super Soldier experiments, Winter Soldier assassinations). And the best part was it was about Sam Wilson's journey into becoming Captain America.
