The power levels in Jujutsu Kaisen are also used to gauge curses which the sorcerers need to defeat. Below is a list of how powerful each grade is (and what would be enough to defeat the curse).

Special Grade - Cluster bombs might work.
Grade 1 - Even a tank might be insufficient.
Grade 2 - Close call with a shotgun.
Grade 3 - If you have a handgun, you can rest easy.
Grade 4 - A wooden bat is enough.


Sorcerers need to be (at least) a higher classification than the curse to defeat them. The strongest sorcerer is Gojo Satoru.
