Background/Context: While hiding in the shadows, Nanao asks Shunsui to give her the [hidden] Ise sword so she can fight Lille Barro. He calls forth one of his zanpakuto spirits (Okyo) who reaches inside her and brings out the Shinken Hakkyōken (Divine Eight-Mirror Sword). Shunsui explains that Nanao's mother asked him to hide it. The perfect place to hide a sword that reflects is in the shadows.
